Ms. Yolanda Robinson is the founder and owner of Journey Financial Planning & Tax Services, LLC, a value based fee only financial planning and registered investment advisory firm established in 2003. Firm ADV

Ms. Yolanda Robinson is a Registered Financial Consultant-RFC®, an Investment Advisor, Certified Tax Professional-CTP© (pending EA), College Planning Specialist©, Certified Financial Education Instructor-CFEI©,  Charitable and Philanthropic Planning Strategies Specialist, Notary Signing Agent, and a Certified Kingdom Advisor an organization that encourages and equips members to integrate faith into their advisory practices. Ms. Robinson studied her Master Degree in Finance (MSFS) with the American College of Financial Services.  She is pursuing a doctoral degree in Finance (D.B.A) from Liberty University.

Ms. Robinson has over a decade of experience and expertise in both personal financial planning, investments and tax accounting. As a financial advisor,  she has extensive knowledge in comprehensive financial planning which enables her to help you through ordinary or extraordinary periods of your financial life. As a tax professional, Yolanda  can assist you with the most complex tax preparation issues; and prepare federal and state tax returns for individuals, families, churches, businesses, estates and trusts. In addition she can assist you throughout the year with your tax planning needs in order to help you assess and manage the impact your financial decisions have on your taxes and your larger financial picture.

Ms. Robinson provides financial planning, investment advisory, and tax accounting services year round. She serves clients throughout all of New York State in addition she provides some services in MD, DC, VA, SC and NC. Some of her areas of expertise and interest are business planning, college planning, tax planning, investment strategies,  estate planning and philanthropy,  financial planning for generation x and y professionals, wealth-building strategies for women, and comprehensive financial and retirement income strategies for educators and professionals.

On a personal note, Yolanda became interested in financial planning when she witnessed the impact that poor planning had on many family members growing up. “The rigors of family life  and watching the unique challenges that women facefrom being  granddaughter , daughter and a mother have taught me firsthand how important financial planning is especially for women,  says Yolanda. “That’s why I won’t sell you investments or guarantee you wealth and riches. I will give you the time, the information and the opportunity to make smart, informed financial decisions that are right or you, your family and your life.”

Yolanda’s passion and calling is to help educate individuals of all ages on the importance of managing their finances and achieving financial independence. Therefore, she is a part-time Economics, Finance, and Business instructor to high school students at NCA.  With the heart of spreading financial literacy to women in girls in her community, she  is the founder and owner of Journey’s Wealth Camp, Inc., a 3 week financial literacy boot camp held in, Buffalo and Rochester, NY to high school girls between the ages of 12-17.

In addition, Yolanda teaches numerous monthly financial webinars and seminars at churches, not-for-profit organizations and colleges in numerous states. These seminars include her popular Church series; Biblical Financial Stewardship Principles,  Your Lesson Plan for Financial Success for Educators, and Women and Money workshops.

She currently publishes and distributes a newsletter “Financial Stewardship for Life” to many individuals, families and organizations every month, and in 2018, her first two books “The New Financial You, and God’s Financial Promises” are due to be released. In addition “An Educators Master Plan for Financial Success ” “Discovering your Financial DNA”  and “Girls just want to have funds” are due to be released in 2019.

Her goal is to explain taxes, investments, and personal finances in a simple, thorough way that anyone can understand. She wants her clients to be in control of their own lives and reach their personal goals, aspirations, and dreams, while building positive financial legacies for themselves and their families.

Monthly Financial coaching services are provided to individuals and families independently and through many not for profit organizations.  Some of these organizations have included Mission Share Outreach Center, Crown Financial Ministries,  in addition to serving as an Endorsed Local Provider for Dave Ramsey. During all initial client consultations Ms. Robinson will listen and then develop a customized, step by step approach in order to assist her clients in attaining their financial goals and objectives.

Yolanda  provides honest, affordable, and timely financial planning and tax accounting services to ordinary families, individuals, and businesses. These services can be provided at Journey Financial Planning & Tax Services, LLC office location or virtually at clients request.

On a personal note,  some  of Yolanda’s personal hobbies are cooking, reading, writing, singing and listening to a wide variety of music.

Yolanda has three children – a son, Israel Lewis and daughters Nyomi and Nyah.
